Ribbon Blender

INTRODUCTION 

Shakti make Ribbon Blenders consist of a U-shaped horizontal trough and a specially fabricated ribbon agitatorand widely accepted in Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals, Cosmetics, Agrochemicals, Pigments, Paint,and Food& Dairy. The outer ribbon moves materials in one direction and the inner ribbon moves the materials in the opposite direction. The ribbons rotate at approx. 50 RPM moves materials both radially and laterally to ensure thorough blends in short cycle times. Ribbon agitators are used for blends that will be between 40 and 100% of the rated capacity of the blender. Objective is to handlethe large dry and wet volume which may be heat sensitive. 

Ribbon Blendersare the result of the smart use of latest technologies to achieve the fine quality blending output. Ribbon Blender is a light duty blender, useful for easy mixing powder components via LOW SHEAR Mixing, most commonly used for SOLID to SOLID or SOLID to LIQUID Mixing and when high shearing force is not considered.

 Shakti in house Designed counter flow ribbon blades mounted on shaft to suitdesired output. Blades are designed for mixing and suitable for product end characteristics at the room temperature or any controlled temperature.
